Honda CR V 2019. Honda has introduced the CR-V Hybrid for European markets for more than a year at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but that was just a prototype. Go to the AWD version and increase to 5.5 liters / 100 km and 126 g / km.
When used in the city, the SUV will automatically switch between Hybrid Drive and EV to ensure maximum efficiency. Former rulers when the combustion engine drives the second motor/generator to supplement the battery pack’s electric power, while the latter when the lithium-ion battery pack feeds the electric drive to drive the wheels. Honda recalls that on a moderate cruise, the hybrid CR-V will work in the next EV drive mode for more than 50 percent of the time. At high speeds, EV Drive is activated for about a third of the time. Thanks to what the automaker calls smart i-MMD technology enough to decide when it’s time to switch between available modes.
Honda will start orders in Europe for the CR-V Hybrid next month, when it will take to the Paris Motor Show from October 2 to join the updated HR-V and ArtCar Manga from Civic Type R.
