2019 BMW 230i. BMW hears pain and pain with the existing BMW 2 series for cool cats that will not be seen dead in a hatchback. The most popular brand model 2 series, received BMW 230i update. The 2019 BMW 230i for Si is a pile of fun to drive and turns out to be more fun than we thought it would be. It’s a little surprise that it’s the best-selling BMW 2 series. The BMW series adopted two new models of engines and more powerful engine options for 2019, which improved the already enjoyable package and the M240i (M2) helped win the top 10 other cars. For 2019, BMW did not want to mess with something good, so the BMW 230i and Coupe Convertible M240i only receive minor modifications in interior, exterior lighting, and appearance options available. The M2 is still the only coupe. And yes, the manual transmission live to see another year.

At a glance, the interior on the 2019 models can easily be mistaken for transmission, but the inspection closely reveals some changes. The new material gives it a fresh vibe, as BMW removes the insert that separates the sweeping dashboard into layers and replaces it with a longitudinal piece that surrounds the center huff openings and stretches over the glove box. These metal accents accentuate the aperture and side air vents, while the high gloss black plastic replaces the previous glossy black central console. The cover of the glove cap has a new flush design, the cup holders add a sliding cover, and the window buttons get the chrome accents.

The glossy black trim is standard for Series 2, with aluminum and wood accents available as options. The cabin technology has also been developed with a redesigned hardware panel and the new BMW EDRF 6.0 interface for the information and entertainment system, with a 6.6-inch (or optional 8.8-inch) touchscreen. That’s right: touching the screen now is something. It’s not all down to the console demand. There are no changes to the main body panels, but the redesign of the headlights and the front fascia of the nose create a slightly different impression. Under the headlight lamp which is the same as last year, hexagonal open hexagonal lamps replace closed circular units. The second-string spectacle appears to be unlocked with a slant across the top, and the 2019 BMW 230i now has front LED headlights. It also aims to create a wider and more elaborate front end by expanding side entrances and adding sweeping rods to the center and upper edges.

LED backlights are redesigned, now standard, are the only change to the rear. The remaining external updates come through paint and wheels. Standard specifications give the BMW 230i 17-inch dual-spoke wheels and tires – run all season – flat tires, while the M240i stands on a 18-inch dual-spoke wheels and tire performance. The M Sport package puts lightweight 18-inch wheels and tires throughout the season at 2019 BMW 230i. Customers have the option to order 18-inch wheels with Michelin tires and Billot Super Sport through track and M Sport packages. If there is no color of last year tickle, three new metal colors, blue medium (dark), blue sea (this one light), orange sunsets (that is, oh, orange), have been added to the plate.

The 2019 BMW 230i is powered by a 2.0-liter, turbo-four-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 185 KW of power and 350 nm of torque. Mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, moving from inertia to 100 km / h in 5.6 seconds and consuming an average of 5.9 liters of fuel per 100 km. While the 2.0 liter engine lacks the urgency of a 3.0 liter six-cylinder unit in the M140i and M240i, it’s a little cracking fire when it stumbles. The peak torque hits between 1450-4800 rpm, making the torque band accessible in almost any gear. One of the highlights of the full drivetrain is a smooth gearbox that is released through the gears quickly and can be controlled using a steering wheel – mounted paddle – raiders.

The roads were open wet, but this was still a lot of dealings available with the front anxious to turn with a lot of grip. The Series 2 is considered one of the best driving vehicles in BMW, thanks to its compact package and excellent tuning structure. Both the 2019 BMW 230i and the M240i come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and rear push, but each push can be ordered on each model regardless of body style. The six-speed manual transmission is an option with no cost available on all but BMW 230i convertible, including models containing Zdrif.

BMW plans to announce pricing soon in July of next year. 2019 BMW 230i is interesting because it is $3,010 more than the more powerful M140i, which also packs two extra cylinders and has two other doors. Priced at $63,000 (plus off-road costs).
